Trivia, Games and Comedy at Lowertown

Tuesday trivia, a new cocktail every Wednesday, a crokinole club, comedy nights, a book club, and Premier League on the patio. Here's what happens each week at Lowertown, 1031 Broadway on Ann Arbor's Northside.

Hours: Mon 8am–4pm · Tue–Thu 8am–10pm · Fri–Sat 8am–11pm · Sun 8am–8pm

Trivia Tuesday

Every Tuesday, Sporcle hosts two games of trivia: one at 7pm and one at 8pm. Bring a team of five or fewer. There are drink specials all night and plenty of non-alcoholic options.

R&D Wednesday

Every Wednesday from 4pm to close, one of our bartenders puts a new cocktail on the menu for $10. Try it, fill out the comment card at your table, and help decide whether it stays, gets tweaked, or gets scrapped.

A2 Crokinole Club

The A2 Crokinole Club meets at Lowertown. Crokinole is a tabletop flicking game: part shuffleboard, part curling, very easy to learn and hard to put down. Check the calendar for the next meetup.

Comedy

Don't Tell Comedy brings its secret-lineup stand-up shows to Lowertown: five to seven comedians, and nobody knows who's on until showtime. Tickets are sold through Don't Tell. We host other comedy nights through the year too, and they're all on the events calendar.

Lowertown Book Club

The Lowertown Book Club meets on Sunday mornings at 11am. The next book and date are posted on the events calendar.

Pop-ups, markets and craft nights

We also host the Lowertown Vintage Market, monthly craft nights with SCRAP Creative Reuse, art shows, and pop-ups. Food trucks park outside most evenings.
