Study and Work at Lowertown
A Northside Ann Arbor cafe with booths, big tables and good coffee. We open at 8am every day and stay open until 10pm Tuesday through Thursday and 11pm on Friday and Saturday, so you can keep going after the libraries get crowded.

Where to sit
Booths line the walls, the big tables have room to spread out, and the skylights and windows keep the room bright all day. When the weather cooperates, the patio is the best seat in the house. In colder months the fire pits make it an outdoor study spot well into the fall.
WiFi
Free WiFi for customers. Ask at the counter for the network name and password.
Fuel
Hyperion coffee, matcha, tea and pastries from Botanical Bakeshop and Beara Bakes in the morning. Later on there's a charcuterie plate, chips, and food trucks parked outside most evenings. And a full zero-proof drink list if you're working late but still want something good.
Plan around the busy nights
Tuesday is trivia night, with games at 7pm and 8pm, and Wednesday evening is R&D night at the bar. The room gets livelier after dinner on those nights, so check the events calendar before you settle in for a long evening session.
Finals week
We open at 8am every day, including weekends. Come early, grab a booth, and we'll keep the coffee coming.
Getting here
We're on Broadway, on Ann Arbor's Northside. There's street parking nearby, and the University of Michigan lot across the street is free after 5pm and all day on weekends.
