BOOK CLUB RETURNS: PLAY IT AS IT LAYS 📚
Our semi-monthly book club is back, and we're starting with Joan Didion's "Play It as It Lays" on Sunday, May 3rd at 11am.
Didion's 1970 novel follows Maria Wyeth through Los Angeles - driving freeways, navigating Hollywood, and trying to hold herself together. Perfect for coffee *or* cocktails.
We've got at the front counter we're going to give away a week prior. Come in and leave an email address and we'll pick from a hat. Or make a run to your nearest library.
Same format as before: casual conversation, nothing formal. Finish the whole thing or just a few chapters - either way, come share your thoughts.
