Book club returns with Joan Didion's "Play It as It Lays" — Sunday, May 3rd at 11am.
Didion's 1970 novel follows Maria Wyeth through Los Angeles, driving freeways, navigating Hollywood, trying to hold herself together.
Same format as before: casual conversation, nothing formal. Read the whole thing or just a few chapters.
