We've been working on this one for a few weeks now, getting our house-made pumpkin pie infusion just right. Tonight you can try the results.
The Pumpkin Pie Espresso Martini combines dark rum with real pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, and chai spices, then adds fresh Hyperion espresso and coffee liqueur with a dash of cinnamon on top. It's rich, warming, and tastes like actual pumpkin pie rather than generic pumpkin spice.
The chai spices bring complexity that regular espresso martinis don't have, and using real pumpkin puree gives it substance and authenticity. This isn't just pumpkin-flavored syrup in a cocktail - it's a proper fall drink that happens to deliver caffeine too.
$10 tonight while we're testing it. If people enjoy it as much as we think they will, this might become a regular fall offering.
