Barista Position at Lowertown Bar & Cafe
Join the crew at Ann Arbor's favorite neighborhood coffee spot!
Lowertown is a community gathering place on Ann Arbor's north side, serving thoughtfully crafted coffee drinks from 7am-3pm in a converted 1930s garage turned modern cafe. We're looking for an experienced barista who takes pride in their craft and genuinely enjoys being part of a neighborhood's daily rhythm.
What you'll do:
Craft excellent espresso drinks and coffee beverages using Hyperion coffee
Provide warm, welcoming service to our diverse community of regulars and newcomersWork collaboratively with a small, tight-knit team
Help maintain the inviting atmosphere that makes Lowertown special
Contribute to the daily operations of a growing local business
What we're looking for:
Minimum 1 year barista experience
4-5 shift weekly availability (weekends required)
Strong customer service skills and genuine hospitality mindset
Team-oriented approach and willingness to support your colleagues
Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute ideas
Reliable transportation
